Our client is currently looking for a PART-TIME GARDEN ASSISTANT to work from Thursday to Monday with flexible hours between 7am-12pm or 8am-1pm. You must be able to work on weekends when it''s the busiest time. This is a seasonal position that runs until October. This position requires standing on your feet all day and light to heavy lifting of annuals (flowers and plants). Some plants can be heavy so the ability to hang up planters and move plants around the table. Ability to withstand outside environment when it''s hot, chilly or rainy. Duties will include the following:
* Place annuals on tables and display according to shade plants or sun plants* Heavy lifting up to 50 lbs* Water annuals on a daily basis or as needed* Upkeep of annuals by pulling dead leaves/flowers and making them look nice* Inventory management: Liaison with Garden Manager to notify of what plants are selling and in what colors* Assist with questions with plants* Friendly personality * Basic knowledge of plants would be a plus
Schedule: Thursday to MondayHours: Flexible 7am to 12pm or 8am to 1pmPay: $18/hr.
