Salary: $25-$30 per hour

Express Employment Professionals is currently searching for a Production Coordinator to join our client’s established team in Dartmouth. Our client operates a successful manufacturing company and handles approximately 50 customer projects concurrently which range from individual to large-scale productions.

 

Responsibilities:

•     Oversee the production process from start to finish
•     Address customer inquiries promptly and resolve customer service issues efficiently
•     Collaborate with the purchasing department to estimate project costs and to streamline the process
•     Accurately generate shop drawings and manufacturing documents
•     Manage the procurement of custom materials
•     Liaise closely with the quality department to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards
•     Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and quality standards are met
•     Develop and review production work instructions
•     Maintain current knowledge of the market and industry trends

 

Requirements:

•     Proficient with computers including the Microsoft Office suite of programs
•     Experience with Solidworks and ERP Systems is considered an asset
•     Must have high attention to detail and accuracy
•     Strong verbal and written communication skills
•     Must have CSA-approved steel-toed boots
•     You should be a highly motivated person who is dedicated to meeting deadlines
•     Strong organizational skills and able to multi-task and adapt to rapidly changing situations
•     Previous procurement, manufacturing and mechanical experience is required
•     Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment independently and as part of a team
•     Able to interpret technical drawings and specifications and familiar with mathematics, engineering, and manufacturing processes

 

Our client offers:

•    Pay is $25-$30 per hour based on experience
•    Hours are Monday – Friday from 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
