Warehouse/Delivery Driver - Ascension Parish - B026

Long term/Full time Position

$14-$17.00/hr

 

 

A local manufacturing company is seeking a delivery driver for a long term opportunity Geismar, LA.

 

This associate will have core responsibilities of pulling orders to prepare for shipping, loading/unloading boxes by hand and/or with forklift, and driving a box truck to locations. Work days M-F, occasional Saturday, and there is sometimes overtime.

 

Pay: $14-17/hour DOE

 

Duties include:

• Accurately pull orders to prepare for shipping
• Loading / unloading boxes of product into box truck and deliver to shipping location
• Use forklift safely
• Count boxes to make up pallets/orders
• Other duties as assigned

Qualities and Requirements: 

• Must be reliable with dependable transportation
• Committed to being at work each day as assigned
• Trustworthy
• Able to do heavy lifting of 50 lbs or more, repeatedly
• Forklift experience is required
• Experience driving box truck
• VALID CLASS-D DRIVER''S LICENSE REQUIRED with no tickets or accidents on record
• Must be 21 years old for insurance requirements
• VALID TWIC REQUIRED
• Background check will be completed
• Drug free
