Filter Assembler

Located in Round Rock, TX

Are you ready to work for a leader in manufacturing in an unrivaled range of industries? This may be the perfect opportunity for you! We’re looking for 1^st Assemblers to work in a cutting-edge facility in Cedar Park.

This position entails using hand tools and power tools to complete production on industrial filters. Candidates need to have flexible available hours and should be able to lift 25+ lbs.

 

Work schedule:

First Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday; production is ramping up, so plenty of overtime and some weekend work is available!

Pay rate: $17.00/hour plus a sign on bonus paid throughout the first year of $1300.00

 

What we’re looking for:

·       High school diploma or equivalent

·       Experience with hand and power tools is required

·       Ability to work around heat with suitable safety equipment

·       Good communication skills

·       Ability to lift and/or carry up to 60 lbs. on a continuous basis for the duration of a work shift

Job highlights:

·       Assemble and dip vent cores in tin bath per instruction specifications

·       Assemble and stack metal filters for production

·       Clean solder out of vent holes

·       Cut core on band saw to desired sizes

·       Solder on brass and steel flanges when needed

·       Perform production support functions as required

·       Work in filters production when needed

·       Test electrical and mechanical devices
