The Specialized Recruiting Group of Express Employment Professionals is partnering with an accounting firm on the southside of Indianapolis to recruit a Hybrid Staff Auditor.

 

Staff Auditor Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for auditing the financial statements of a client’s business, and performing other duties as assigned. The Staff Auditor will also assist in preparing and analyzing financial statements for clients.

 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master’s degree preferred
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to work with a variety of people, including customers, employees, and management
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining confidentiality
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and employees

 

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting functions for a smooth accounting operation
• Must learn all functions of the accounting department to assist and cover when necessary
• Bank reconciliation
• Payroll and HR using ADP Workforce Now
• All general ledger processes including account reconciliation, journal entries, and monthly financial statements
• Record assets and maintain required insurance and licensing
• File monthly sales tax for 4 states
• Credit approval for customer accounts
