Location: De Soto, KS

 

Duration: Up to 1.5 years (long-term contract)

 

Pay: $800/week based on $20/hour and 40 hours worked, with overtime opportunities

 

Experience: Minimum of 2 years working on a construction site or related field

 

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm (with overtime until 5:30pm when needed)

 

Overview: Join our team at a Freight Forwarding company in De Soto, KS, as an Industrial Mover. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to work with our client on various tasks, including unloading containers, moving equipment, cleaning, and other general labor duties. We are seeking reliable individuals with at least 2 years of experience in construction or a similar field.

 

Responsibilities:

• Unload containers and move equipment as needed
• Perform general labor duties, including cleaning and organizing work areas
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete tasks efficiently
• Follow instructions from supervisors and communicate effectively

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working on a construction site or similar environment
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor for extended periods
• Experience operating equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks preferred
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
