We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team. As a Welder/Fabricator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently using welding and shop equipment such as power supplies, wire feeders, voltage and current controls, welding helmet, welding guns, measuring tools, clamps, jigs and fixtures, and other miscellaneous hand tools. You should also be skilled in personal protection equipment training (PPE), Global Harmonization System Training (GHS), Lock Out- Tag Out Training (LOTO), and have the ability to read and comprehend complex prints.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently use welding and shop equipment
• Read and comprehend complex prints and weld symbols
• Follow directions and specifications provided by supervisors
• Fabricate and weld parts to meet production goals
• Measure and align workpieces using straightedges, clamps, and jigs
• Inspect welds for accuracy and quality
• Perform routine maintenance on welding and shop equipment
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience in welding and fabrication
• Ability to read and comprehend complex prints and weld symbols
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a continual basis
• Fluent in welding technology and techniques
