Location: Rochelle, IL

Pay Rate: $18.95 per hour

Shift Type: Full-time, Monday – Friday: 8 AM – 5 PM (Evaluation Hire)
OVERTIME OFFERED IF NEEDED.

 

Job Description: As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations on the 1ST shift. You will be responsible for operating a sit-down forklift to ensure the smooth flow of inventory throughout the facility. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to safety will be essential as you support various aspects of our supply chain management.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and store outgoing materials according to set procedures.
  • Operate sit-down forklift to pull and put away materials.
  • Accurately record incoming and outgoing inventory using established inventory systems.
  • Prepare materials for production by picking, packing, and staging items as needed.
  • Safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
  • Perform regular inventory counts and resolve discrepancies to maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders and support production schedules.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety guidelines and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to safely operate material handling equipment and obtain necessary certifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proven experience as a material handler or in a similar role within a warehouse or manufacturing environment.

Requirements:

  • 2 years experience sit down forklift (minimum)
  • Ability to consistently show up on time and ready to work.
  • Effective oral and written communication.
