Mold Process Technician

Located in Byron Center, MI

Salary: $25/HR+, BOE

Mold Process Technician Job Summary: A locally owned and operated company that designs and manufactures as well as markets fluid control devices is looking for a new team member to grow with their thriving company.

 

Mold Process Technician Requirements:

• Perform mold and material changes as dictated by the schedule
• Perform process troubleshooting and parts inspections to ensure part conformity and quality
• Develop the process for new molds
• Perform machine start-up, shut down, and processing changes
• Preventative maintenance on molds
• Determine proper turns for regrind before scrapping
• Operate overhead crane and forklift

Schedule & Pay:

• 3rd Shift: 11PM – 7AM, Monday – Friday, Overtime as needed
• WILL BE REQUIRED TO TRAIN ON 1ST SHIFT
• $25/HR+, BOE

Mold Process Technician Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience w mold setup, processing and troubleshooting
• Experience with Star Robots, Motan handling systems, and JSW IMM preferred
• Familiar with Lean Principles/Toyota Production
• Mechanically Incline
• Strong troubleshooting ability
• Process leadership and communication skills
