Material Handler - 006

Located in Sarasota , FL

Salary: $16/Hour

We are working with a local metal and plastic products manufacturer looking to add a Material Handler to the team!

Duties and responsibilities:

• Fulfill order tickets - pick correct grades and sizes of metal
• Use AS400 computer system to identify the locations of the materials
• Use side-loader, crane, or forklift to obtain the materials, lift 50+ lbs
• Correctly document on pick-tickets all information required by standard or location-specific procedures
• Move orders to staging location to loaded on to trucks
• Ability to carry out written and diagrammed instructions
• Ability to work overtime if required based on customer demands

Skills/Experience needed:

• Highschool diploma or GED
• Computer skills - word processing/typing, alphanumeric data entry
• Mathematical skills - add, subtract, multiply, divide, compute rate, ratio, and percent
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus! 

FULL TIME - Monday-Friday: 8am-5pm

Pay Rate: Starts at $16/Hour - goes up to $17/hour after evaluation period
