Sales Associate - $35,000/Annually + Commission

A company in West El Paso needs a Sales Associate. As a Sales Associate 

Your primary responsibility is to provide expert sales and customer service to clients seeking all types of flooring including carpet, hardwood, vinyl, laminate, and tile.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Consultation: Engage with clients in-person, over the phone, or through digital channels to understand their flooring requirements. Provide personalized recommendations based on their preferences, lifestyle, and budget and provide them with a proposal.
2. Sales Hunter: Be willing and able to plan and execute a successful local marketing plan.
3. Product Knowledge: Demonstrate a deep understanding of various flooring materials (e.g., hardwood, LVP, tile, carpet), Stay up to date with industry trends and product innovations.
4. Sales and Negotiation: Effectively present product options to customers, highlighting features, benefits, and cost implications. Handle price negotiations professionally to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
5. Quotations and Proposals: Prepare accurate quotes and proposals based on customer requirements. Detail all aspects of the products, services, and associated costs to ensure transparency.
6. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, ensuring that clients'' questions, concerns, and follow-up requests are addressed promptly and professionally.
7. Project Coordination: Collaborate with installation teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. Coordinate product deliveries and installations, ensuring timely completion.
8. Showroom Maintenance: Keep the showroom organized and presentable, ensuring all products are accurately labeled and well-displayed.
9. Teamwork: Attend and contribute to team building gatherings, product knowledge events, and Goal Settings and Review check-ins.

Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to build a book of business
• Proven excellent sales track record
• Strong networker
• In-home sales experience a plus
• Flooring sales experience a plus
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Proficient in Word, Excel and Email Software
• Exceptional negotiation and closing abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
