Job Description:
 

Your Role as an Accounting Clerk

  • Prepare employee paychecks including withholding calculations accurately and by following applicable federal and state regulations
  • Alert appropriate management team members regarding late or missing documents required for accounting or accounts payable
  • Accurately processes invoice and check requests including auditing for accuracy, proper authorization, and completeness of supporting documentation
  • Maintains complete and accurate accounting and accounts payable records
  • Prepares and distributes year-end W-2 and 1099 forms
  • Establishes and maintains a positive working relationship with employees and other customers
  • Maintains confidentiality of employee and organization information at all times
  • Performing other specific projects relating to accounting, data entry, and information system operations is required
  • Assists in the preparation of monthly accounting and accounts payable records
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in Accounting (REQUIRED)
