Express Employment is currently seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and safe transportation of office and business products to local companies. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading goods, planning delivery routes, and providing excellent customer service. 

Pay: $20 per hour 

Shift: Full-Time, Monday through Friday 

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a small delivery truck to transport office and business products to designated locations.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and securing of items to prevent damage during transportation.
• Plan delivery routes efficiently to minimize time and fuel consumption, while adhering to traffic and safety regulations.
• Verify delivery instructions and addresses, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of products to customers.
• Provide excellent customer service by maintaining professionalism, courtesy, and promptness during deliveries.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain delivery records, including receipts, invoices, and delivery logs, accurately documenting each transaction.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers to coordinate deliveries and address any concerns or inquiries.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role, preferably in the office and business products industry.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Familiarity with local routes and streets, with excellent navigational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends, depending on delivery schedules.
