Our client is seeking and experienced Packaging Maintenance Mechanic, who will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of packaging equipment within the facility. Responsible for assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining various packaging machinery, this role requires a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to maintenance

Responsibilities

• Performs routine preventive maintenance inspections on all packaging equipment, which includes bagger and print press machines

• Monitors packaging equipment for proper operation, makes adjustments and repairs to optimize machine performance
• Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches, schematic drawings, and manufacturer’s instructions
• Supports projects 24 hours per day in case of emergencies
• Coordinate with Managers to schedule regular Maintenance on machines

 

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years maintenance experience required
• Electrical skills including the understanding of 480-volt equipment and troubleshooting (controls voltage, DC applications)
• Strong mechanical skills using hand tools
• Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance programs and standards
