CNC Machine Operator

Located in York, PA

Salary: $20.00 to $23.00/DOE

Hours:  Monday-Thursday 5:30a-4p, Friday 5a-11a, 45-55-hour work weeks, mandatory overtime

Dress code: Jeans/T-shirt, steel toed shoes, nothing offensive, no Jewelry.

Job Description:

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience running a brake press/CNC/laser or heavy machinery within a metal fabrication environment; job routing instructions.

• Ability to read blueprints and select proper tooling

• Troubleshoot and perform basic mechanical maintenance.

• Familiarity with using essential fabrication tools (saws, shears, punches, etc.)

• Good problem-solving skills and attention to quality.

∙ Ability to set-up machine is not required but a plus.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

– 3-5 years prior experience

• Work in conjunction with other fabricators, welders and machine operators.

• Measurement, mathematical and conversion (metric-imperial) skills.

This is a Physical job, must wear a respirator, protective clothing, jacket, & gloves are provided by the company, drinks & radios are allowed at your workstation.  VERY hot work environment!
