Salary: 16.00 + Bonus (adds 8-10/hr!)

General Summary: In conformance with established policies and procedures, perform a variety of powder coating production, ordering, and quality control functions. 

Essential Job Functions:  (Applicant/Employee must have the ability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodations.)

  1. Ability to quickly and accurately operate the powder coating production software.
  2. Ability to quickly and accurately verify formulas and determine swatch needs.
  3. Ability to quickly and accurately pull raw materials and weigh additives.
  4. Correctly and safely operate all powder coating production equipment.
  5. Fill raw material containers on a proactive basis.
  6. Maintain cleanliness of workstation and entire production area.
  7. Correct packaging, bagging (double when required), sealing and labeling of produced material and QC sample.
  8. Ensure production log and end of day duties form are completed and turned in prior to leaving each day.
  9. Follow Work Priorities List. (Lead has ability to make adjustments to maximize productivity and reduce inefficiencies)
  10. Ability to quickly and accurately shoot QC Panels
  11. Ability to quickly and accurately prepare swatch order powder
  12. Ability to quickly and accurately shoot swatch order Panel

Marginal Job Functions:

  1. Ensure all material containers are labeled and organized.
  2. Clean Buckets thoroughly and quickly
  3. Make Boxes
  4. Cut swatches
  5. Assist with special projects as requested.
  6. Maintain necessary supplies.
  7. Month-end inventory.

  1. Ability to learn quickly.
  2. Ability to maintain organized records.
  3. Maintain a clean, organized and productive work environment.
  4. Ability to follow directions well, yet take initiative when necessary.
  5. A positive demeanor and ability to work well in a team environment.
  6. Ability to communicate problems with supervisor.
  7. Ability to follow all standard operating procedures and safety policies.

 Physical Requirements:

  1. Lifting 50 lb containers regularly. Lifting up to 70 lb containers occasionally, boxes, or bags on occasion
  2. Standing for 100% of the work day.
  3. Moving up to 200lbs of material using a hand-truck.
  4. Ability to lift weight above head when required.

Bonus Structure after 30 Days:

Any bonus awarded will be paid out on the following schedule:

  • Month 1 – 12.5% of full incentive bonus.
  • Month 2 – 25% of full incentive bonus.
  • Month 3 – 37.5% of full incentive bonus.
  • Month 4 - 50% of full incentive bonus.
  • Month 6 – 62.50% of full incentive bonus.
  • Month 7 – 75% of full incentive bonus.
  • Month 8 – 87.5% of full incentive bonus.
  • Month 9 – 100% Full bonus
