Local company is looking to add a sheet metal fabricator to their growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality sheet metal components used in roofing systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of metalworking techniques, be adept at reading technical drawings, and demonstrate a keen eye for detail. Your responsibilities will include utilizing various metalworking tools to cut, shape, and form sheet metal components, interpreting and working from detailed technical drawings, and ensuring the quality of fabricated metal pieces. Collaboration with project managers and team members is essential to understand project requirements and timelines. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting inspections, performing welding and joining techniques, and adhering to safety protocols. The successful candidate will have proven experience in sheet metal fabrication within a roofing or construction environment, technical proficiency, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
