Forklift Operator | 7:00AM – 3:30PM | Mon-Fri | $16.50/hr.

 

$19.50/hr pay rate after six months!

 

A contract warehouse in Decatur, IL is seeking a Forklift Operator.  The position is long-term in a union facility with good pay and benefits.

Qualifications for Forklift Operator

• Good work history
• Previous forklift experience is preferred but not required
• Previous RF scanner experience would also by a plus
• Proficiency in basic math and reading
• Able to prioritize and meet customer deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• A positive attitude with a willingness to learn new things

 

Responsibilities for Forklift Operator

• Operate a forklift truck
• Load and unload trucks
• Put away incoming material
• Pull orders from inventory
• Identify and report product damage
• Maintain accurate inventory records
• Keep work areas clean and safe
