Position Type: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Salary: $18.95 per hour

Summary of Duties:

We are seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team in Rochelle, IL. The Material Handler will be responsible for efficiently and safely managing the movement, storage, and handling of materials within our manufacturing facility and distribution center. Key responsibilities include operating a sit-down forklift, order fulfillment, loading staging areas and semi-trucks, operating handheld scanners, and accurately recording inventory transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a sit-down forklift to move, store, or handle items within the facility.
  • Fulfill orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Load staging areas and semi-trucks with products.
  • Operate handheld scanners to locate and pull products for staging.
  • Safely operate forklifts and other equipment.
  • Accurately record incoming and outgoing inventory using established systems.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to safely operate material handling equipment and obtain necessary certifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proven experience as a material handler or in a similar role within a warehouse or manufacturing environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a sit-down forklift.
  • Ability to consistently show up on time and ready to work.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
