MIG Welder 

$20-$25 per hour, DOE

Monday- Friday 

7:00am-4:30pm

 

A custom metal company in Santa Fe Springs is looking for a Welder with over a year experience in MIG Welding. You will be working in the Research and Development department. You are applying with Express Employment Professionals.

 

Welder Responsibilities

• Has experience in welding on aluminum and steel.
• Understands technical drawings and schematic with AWS D1.1 specifications.
• Able to setup, fabricate, and assemble prototype parts in accordance to engineering drawings, sketches, or verbally instructions
• Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws to match measurements)

Requirements

• Familiarity with welding tools and procedures.
• Must have experience with torch cutter.
• Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers etc.)
• Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)
• Proficient in reading and writing in English.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Hydraulic, liftgate, and truck mechanic knowledge is a plus.
