Position Overview:

As a Warehouse Supervisor], you will oversee the daily operations of the warehouse facility, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and compliance with company policies and procedures. Your leadership skills and experience in warehouse management will be essential in driving success in our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate activities of warehouse personnel, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping.
• Plan and prioritize daily workload to meet operational targets and deadlines.
• Train, mentor, and motivate warehouse staff to maintain high levels of performance and productivity.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage stock rotation to optimize space utilization and minimize product spoilage or obsolescence.
• Conduct regular inspections of the warehouse facility to ensure compliance with safety regulations and housekeeping standards.
• Enforce company policies and procedures related to inventory control, security, and workplace safety.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics, transportation, and customer service, to coordinate workflow and resolve operational issues.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports related to inventory levels, shipments, and warehouse activities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• 2 – 5 years of RECENT experience in warehouse operations
• Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management, preferably in a logistics or distribution environment.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management principles, and best practices.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other software applications used in logistics operations.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and OSHA compliance standards.
