7:00am - 5:00pm (lots of opportunity for OT!)
Monday-Friday (and occasional Saturdays)
A fine home furnishings company in East LA is looking for Furniture Warehouse Dispatcher. The ideal candidate has experience as a dispatcher for at least 1-2 years. In this role, you will be responsible for dispatching multiple truckload deliveries daily across the LA area. Will be responsible for route efficiency and communication with drivers and customers. This growing company looks for experienced candidates who like working as part of a team. This is a long-term position!
Dispatcher Assistant Responsibilities:
- Manage high-volume of scheduling and problem-solving while deliveries are in progress.
- Provide integrated, collaborative customer care to customers.
- Enter route numbers in company system.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Work with the transportation team.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
- Develop and maintain spreadsheets to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Dispatcher Assistant Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience as a dispatcher.
- Route optimization/management.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Local customer relationship building.
