Student Work Study Program Customer Service Representative

 

Express Employment Professionals is seeking dependable candidates to fill the position of Customer Service Representative local utility company! Excellent opportunity for high school seniors to gain office/customer service experience. The Customer Service Representative will fill the crucial role of ensuring that customers are satisfied with their experience.

 

Essential Job Functions:

• Provide information and services to customers
• Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, complaints and comments
• Resolve customers'' service or billing issues
• Ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve customers'' problems
• Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation

Job Requirements:

• Students must be at least 17 years of age and have completed their Junior year of high school.
• Must be enrolled in a local high school for Senior year.
• Pay starts at $14.00/hr. during training
• Increase pay to $15.00/hr. once training completed.
• Spanish Differential of $1.00/hr after 6 month evaluation.
• 40 hrs./wk paid training through summer from 8am-5pm Mon-Friday
• Shifts from 2-6:15pm Mon-Friday available during school year.
• Great communication skills
• Ability to manage conflict
