Production Assistant- Aerator 

Monday-Friday (OT & Weekend as Needed)

5am start / 1st Shift

A reputable printing company specializing in providing top-notch printing solutions is seeking a dedicated Production Assistant - Aerator to join the team. This position offers the opportunity to be an integral part of our production process. You are applying with Express Employment Professionals. 
 
 
Production Assistant Responsibilities:
 
  • Operate Aerator/Jogger efficiently, ensuring that every load meets specified quality guidelines.
  • Properly follow palletizing and tagging instructions to customer specifications.
  • Weigh every pallet to be shipped and ensure the printed scale tag is correct.
  • Ensure correct quantities are posted on every load.
  • Ensure all loads are securely strapped for shipment.
  • Perform a rub test on all jobs before Jogging.
  • Follow Shipping/Die Cutter schedule and jog loads in the order arranged.
  • Inspect and separate tagged sheets.
  • Assist other areas when needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.\
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and safety instructions and participate in process improvements.
  • Demonstrate good attendance and punctuality.
  • Cross-train when no work is available.
  • Perform other duties as requested, such as palletizing, operating a pallet jack to move finished product, strapping, stripping paper, heat and shrink wrapping, packing, and performing 5s.
 
Production Assistant Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift, pull, and push up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to grasp, grip, bend, squat, kneel, reach, push, and pull.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and strong attention to detail.
  • Must be able to read small print.
  • Must wear steel toe shoes.
  • Must be able to stand for the full duration of their shift, up to 12 hours.
