Field Imaging Technician      

 

Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for Field Imaging Technician contract period is May 7, 2024 to May 25, 2024. We are looking for full-time positions. Background check and drug testing required. Pay is $17.00 per hour

 

Job Summary:  Responsible for converting archival materials to digital format using a high-resolution image capture system. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Properly handle fragile and rare archival materials 
• Support the preparation of materials for imaging 
• Image documents, photographs, maps, etc. 
• Verify work and maintain a high level of accuracy 
• Adhere to the code of confidentiality in cases where discretion should be used 
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned 

 

Skills: 

• Ability to work effectively with supervision and as part of a team 
• Experience, or ability to learn handling of library or archival material 
• Basic understanding of how to operate a computer 
• Ability to understand and follow oral and/or written directions 

 

Position Qualifications and Requirements: 

• Maintain production area in a neat and orderly condition 
• Self-motivated and ability to work independently with minimal direction 
• Physical ability and dexterity to accurately position documents for imaging 
• Must be able to work standing for a period of four to eight hours (Imaging) 
• Must have complete range of motion and full manual dexterity with both hands 
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing 
• High attention to detail required 
• Sound judgment to identify and report problems to supervisors, and contribute to resolving them
