Residential Maintenance Tech / HVAC experience required

Located in Eastlake, OH

Salary: $25-$30 an hour

Monday - Friday  $25-$30/hr. Columbus, Ohio 

 

Job Description:

 

Maintain apartments, homes, and commercial properties under company management. Preventative Maintenance, Special Projects, and repair in the skillsets related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and grounds duties etc. Professional and courteous demeanor with all residents and staff.

Job Duties

• Completes maintenance work, maintenance service requests, and special projects based on experience and ability, to include, but not limited to, specific carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, HVAC, masonry, and other general maintenance in accordance with Company standards and local city, state and federal building codes when applicable.  Provides on-call maintenance for evenings, weekends and holidays as scheduled.  Updates the status of all work orders.
• Executes the Make-Ready/Turn process, as well as inspects rent ready apartments to ensure all maintenance items are completed and the apartment is ready for move-in.
• Inspects the physical apartment site including all roofs, garages, carports, driveways, streets, stucco, siding, pools, building, recreational facilities, identifying all areas in need of immediate or future repairs and maintenance and trained to provide an inspection report to the Property Manager for review.

Qualities Required

• Reliable, self-starter.
• 1-3 years’ experience in maintenance or related experience that can be confirmed. Able to operate hand tools.
• Effective oral and written communication skills and provide excellent customer service.
• Can be trained to perform maintenance related to painting, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, emergency/security systems, and pool maintenance based on ability and experience
