**Responsibilities:**

 

- Install, repair, and maintain various types of residential and commercial garage doors, including overhead doors, sectional doors, and rolling doors.

- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with garage door systems.

- Perform routine maintenance checks and inspections to identify potential problems and prevent future issues.

- Replace worn-out parts, such as springs, cables, rollers, and hinges, using appropriate tools and techniques.

- Adjust garage door tracks, springs, and other components to ensure proper alignment and smooth operation.

- Program and configure garage door openers, keypads, remotes, and other access control devices.

- Provide accurate estimates and recommendations to customers regarding repair or replacement options.

- Deliver excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including company vehicles, tools, and equipment.

- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks and ensure compliance with industry standards.

 

**Qualifications:**

 

- Proven experience as a garage door technician or related field.

- Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills.

- Knowledge of garage door systems, components, and repair techniques.

- Familiarity with hand and power tools commonly used in the trade.

- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Valid driver''s license with a clean driving record.

- Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screenings as required.

- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.

 

**Compensation:**

 

- Competitive hourly wage ranging from $32 to $35 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
