Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking an Installer Lead Hand to join our client’s dynamic team in Dartmouth. Our client is the leading provider of warehouse storage solutions in Canada. This role would suit someone with a background in construction and equipment operation and who is looking for a long term career and progression opportunities.

 

Responsibilities:

•       Installation and assembly of various types of storage systems and warehouse equipment.
•       Work with team to complete projects on time and budget.
•       Looks for ways to improve and promote quality. 
•       Resolve issues and come with action plans to improve process.
•       Demonstrate leadership and communicate necessary requirements to the proper personnel. 
•       Able to build morale and group commitments to goals and objectives
•       Ensure work is done safely and in accordance with the company’s health & safety policies, procedures and safe work practices. 
•       Operate various types of lift equipment and hand or power tools.
•       Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
•       Maintain company truck and maintenance records.

 

Requirements:

•   Must have a valid driver’s license.
•        Must have fall arrest, emergency first aid, WHMIS.
•        Must have forklift and scissor lift operator’s license.
•        Must be able to travel as required by specific projects.
•        Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
•        Supervision, Leadership people management skills.
•        Ability to conduct himself in a courteous, knowledgeable , and professional manner;
•        Read and interpret blueprint drawings, submittals and specifications
•        Health and Safety background an asset.

 

Our client Offers:

•        Full-time permanent role
•        Pay is $22-$28 per hour depending on experience  
•        Monday to Friday schedule 8am-4.30pm
