Job Description:

Are you looking for a manufacturing position in McMinnville, TN? We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Manufacturing Operators on the 1st shift. As a Manufacturing Operator, your primary responsibility will be making wire baskets. You will work in pairs, either operating the wire machine spinner or a welding machine.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Wire Basket Production: You will be responsible for producing wire baskets according to established guidelines and specifications.

2. Machine Operation: Depending on the assignment, you will operate either the wire machine spinner or a welding machine to complete the production process.

Expected Results:

 

The expected results for this role are to achieve a production range of 140-600 petal presses. Attention to detail and adherence to quality standards will be crucial in meeting these expectations.

 

Physical Requirements:

1. Lifting: The job requires lifting weights ranging from 10-11 lbs. You should be capable of handling this physical demand.

2. Pushing: Pushing weights between 30-35 lbs is required as part of the job responsibilities.

Equipment Used:

 

You will utilize various equipment during your work, including single stroke welders, cutters, winding machines, Jiggs, and carts. Familiarity with these tools and equipment will be beneficial.

 

Working Hours:

 

This is a full-time position with a 1st shift schedule from Monday to Friday, starting at 7:00 am and ending at 3:30 pm. There may be opportunities for overtime work on Saturdays, providing additional earning potential.

 

Pay and Employment Type:

 

The position offers a starting pay rate of $9.00 per hour. It is a temporary-to-permanent role, meaning there is potential for permanent employment based on your performance and the company''s needs.
