Salary: $55,000 - $65,000

Our client, a medium sized Law Firm located in the Downtown core, is looking for driven and professional a Litigation Law Clerk to join their team.

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Answer incoming calls in a professional manner, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate parties
• Schedule, manage, and confirm appointments, including meetings, depositions, and court dates
• Maintain and update case records and client details
• Draft and proofread legal documents, letters, and memorandums
• Engage with clients to gather necessary documentation, information, and provide initial case information
• Maintain an organized electronic and paper filing system for all legal documents and correspondence
• Assist lawyers in preparation for trials, hearings, and mediations
• Monitor and ensure timely compliance with all legal deadlines
• Collaborate with lawyers, paralegals, and other legal professionals to ensure client satisfaction
• Keep updated with administrative procedures and legal regulations
• Other duties as assigned 

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of civil litigation experience
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the Rules of Civil Procedure
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to type quickly and accurately
• Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem solving skills
• Keen attention to detail
• Ability to work overtime if necessary
• Law Clerk diploma considered a strong asset

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience
