A concrete company in Conroe, TX is searching for Concrete Estimator & Project Manager to assist in the company’s daily operations. This is a temp-to-hire position in a fast-paced environment and the ideal candidate will have The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating concrete projects, including foundations, paving, sidewalks, curb, and retaining walls.. Job Summary:

 

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for reviewing construction drawings, obtaining project quotes, and performing detailed calculations to ensure accurate estimates.

 

Job Details:

• Full-time position
• Pay rate: $75,000 per year
• Day shift, Monday to Friday (no nights or weekends)

 

Summary of essential job functions:

• Review construction drawings and use a sizing scale to determine project scope
• Utilize STACK estimating software to create detailed estimates
• Obtain quotes from suppliers and subcontractors for each project
• Perform complex math and calculations to ensure estimate accuracy
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of concrete construction processes
• Manage time efficiently and maintain a detail-oriented approach
• Maintain a professional and dependable work ethic

 

 

Qualities Required:

  

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a concrete estimator
• Proficiency in reading construction drawings and using a sizing scale
• Experience with STACK estimating software preferred
• Strong math and calculation skills
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities
• Reliable and punctual
