Junior Accountant

Express Specialized Recruiting Group is looking for someone to fill this full-time position of Junior Accountant for one of Hawaii’s best valet and self-parking services! Competitive compensation up to $45K, great benefits, and a hybrid work schedule.

Duties

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts to the general ledger for financial accuracy.
• Post journal entries at month-end, maintaining up-to-date financial records.
• Prepare and analyze monthly reports comparing actual results to budget projections, including variance explanations.

Qualifications

• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel
• Experience with Peachtree and QuickBooks preferred
• Ability to work well under pressure and problem-solve
