A Dermatology Clinic in Allen, TX is looking for a Medical Biller! As a Medical Biller, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing medical claims and billing patients for services rendered.

 

Schedule: Mon-Fri 9AM-5PM

 

Your primary duties will include:

• Reviewing patient information to ensure accuracy and completeness for billing purposes.
• Coding diagnoses and procedures using ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelines.
• Submitting claims to insurance companies and government agencies.
• Following up on unpaid claims and resolving any billing discrepancies.
• Communicating with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers to resolve billing inquiries and disputes.
• Maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to all HIPAA regulations.

 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical billing.
• Proficiency in medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Strong understanding of medical coding principles, including ICD-10 and CPT coding.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
