Responsibilities

• The Maintenance Technician repairs major and minor equipment with instruction and guidance from the Maintenance Technician Lead
• Performs preventive maintenance on building service equipment and records pertinent data
• Trouble shoots equipment using test equipment, technical manuals and blueprints
• Follows up on preventive maintenance schedule in checking, cleaning, and lubricating equipment and related work to ensure proper functioning of equipment
• Checks, repairs, and changes minor electrical components as required, meeting occupant needs when safe and feasible
• Repairs numerous types of equipment including general building and cabinet repairs
• The Maintenance Technician reports to the Manager or Director
