Pay starts at $20.00-$26.00/hour DOE.

 

Responsibilities of Shop Machinist:

• Manual Machining using lathes & Mills
• Machine Setup: Set up manual machines such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drills according to job specifications
• Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify dimensions of machined parts and ensure accuracy
• Welding & Fabrication
• Following blueprints to build to spec

Requirements of Shop Machinist:

• Proven experience as a manual machinist, with a solid understanding of manual machining techniques
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and blueprints
• Bending, stopping and lifting up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Schedule is generally 7 am -3:30 pm M-F with some required OT
