B Pressure Welder

Salary: $42/hour

An Edmonton client is searching for a B Pressure Welder to join their team.

B Pressure Welder Highlights:

·         Report to the department foreman for daily tasks and assignments.

·         Safely utilize tools and equipment while adhering to health and safety regulations.

·         Maintain a clean and organized work area and assist others in doing the same.

·         Apply basic fabrication skills and experience to pressure vessel manufacturing processes.

·         Perform welding tasks on pressure vessels according to specifications.

·         Fit pressure vessels to meet drawing and code requirements.

·         Be prepared to work at heights, with training provided as necessary.

·         Possess 3+ years of experience in welding and fabrication of pressure vessels.

·         Successfully pass required pre-tests.

·         Ability to weld using SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) and GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) techniques.

·         Demonstrate the ability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

·         Communication and Collaboration:

·         Exhibit excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, a collaborative nature, and the ability to follow directions effectively.

·         Ability to lift to 60lbs, work at heights, and maneuver on/off equipment and up/down ladders with agility.

·         Work in a large manufacturing facility alongside other trades.

·         Expect a physically demanding position requiring strength and agility.

·         Promote and support a culture that prioritizes health and safety, ethical business practices, individual integrity, social responsibility, and operational performance.

·         Foster effective communication between all departments to support operational and strategic goals.

·         Encourage and support a culture of teamwork and cooperation across all departments within the company. 

 

B Pressure Welder Hours & Wage

·         8:00 am – 5:00 pm – Monday to Friday

·         $42/hour
