1st Shift Material Support/Forklift Operator

An Edwardsville warehouse is looking to add a new material support associate to their company! This is an evaluation hire (potential direct placement for the right candidate), with room for advancement and growth opportunities.  

LOCATION: Edwardsville, KS 

PAY: $18.50/hr

SCHEDULE: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM, M-F
Key Responsibilities

• THIS IS A STAND UP FORKLIFT POSITION
• 6 months of recent experience is REQUIRED
• You will start by training on the order pulling system with the voicepick technology. Then train on the forklifts.
• Processes include receiving, shipping, pulling large volume orders,
• replenishment of both pallet rack and shelves, requisitions and processing 108 and 199 picks in the RF system. Ability to perform any other related job duties as assigned by the developer.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 to 80 pounds.

Expected Results

• Keep organized files and area. (Includes minimal housekeeping.) Work with minimal supervision. Follow verbal and written instructions. Utilize the WMS and JDE computer systems.

Experience Required

• At least 6 months of RECENT reach and/or stand up experience is required (within the last year)
• Experience on/or required to successfully train and qualify on a sit down forklift, stand up reach truck and order picker. Experience with radio frequency or be willing to train on operating RF equipment and procedures.
