Cherry Picker Operator (Warehouse) – 1^st shift

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cherry Picker Operator to join our warehouse team. As a Cherry Picker Operator, you will play a crucial role in our operations by efficiently and safely operating a cherry picker forklift to move, stack, and retrieve goods within the warehouse. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accurate and timely movement of materials, contributing to the overall efficiency and productivity of our warehouse operations.

 

Location: Edgerton, KS

 

Pay: $780/week before taxes ($19.50/hour/40 hours), PAID WEEKLY!

 

Schedule:

• 1^st shift
• 7:00am-3:30pm
• Monday-Friday

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operate the cherry picker forklift in a safe and efficient manner, following all relevant safety guidelines and procedures.
2. Inspect the cherry picker equipment before each shift to ensure it is in proper working condition and report any issues or malfunctions to the supervisor.
3. Safely load and unload materials from trucks, racks, and shelves using the cherry picker forklift.
4. Pick, stack, and organize products and materials in designated locations within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
5. Collaborate with the warehouse team to prioritize tasks and fulfill orders according to established schedules.
6. Accurately record and maintain inventory information, including stock levels, locations, and movements using inventory management systems or other relevant tools.
7. Perform regular checks to ensure the integrity and quality of products and report any discrepancies or damages to the supervisor.
8. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the cherry picker equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
9. Assist in other warehouse tasks such as packing, labeling, and general material handling as needed.
10. Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, quality control, and workplace regulations.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Valid forklift operator certification, specifically for cherry picker forklifts.
3. Proven experience operating a cherry picker forklift in a warehouse or similar setting.
4. Excellent knowledge of forklift operation and safety guidelines.
5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in material handling and inventory management.
6. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
7. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and operate the cherry picker forklift for extended periods.
8. Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions effectively.
9. Familiarity with warehouse management systems or inventory tracking software is a plus.
10. Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
