Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Production Midline Operator. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment and machinery, ensuring efficient and high-quality production output. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and commitment to quality will contribute to the overall success of our manufacturing processes.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment to established procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Perform equipment changeovers and adjustments as required to accommodate different products or production requirements.
  • Monitor production processes, including machine performance, material flow, and product quality, and make necessary adjustments or interventions to maintain optimal output.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment, identify potential issues or malfunctions, and perform basic maintenance tasks or report to maintenance staff as needed.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials, components, and finished products to prevent damage or contamination.
  • Collaborate with other team members, such as supervisors, technicians, and quality control personnel, to ensure smooth coordination and effective communication throughout the production process.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to quality control guidelines to ensure products meet or exceed specified standards.
  • Document production activities, including machine performance, output, and any deviations or incidents that occur during the shift.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following good manufacturing practices and workplace safety protocols.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency enhancement, and waste reduction, and actively participate in implementing related initiatives.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Technical certifications or training in manufacturing or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Production Operator or in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to operate and troubleshoot production equipment effectively.
  • Knowledge of production processes, machinery operation, and quality control principles.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as operating manuals and production instructions.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to perform tasks with accuracy and precision.
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
