Salary: $17.00-20.00/hr

Express is now hiring Cooks at a local Diner company based out of Rochester, WA. This is an evaluation-permanent opportunity. Two part time cooks needed and the schedule will be Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 5:30AM-2:30PM for one shift and Friday, Saturday, Sunday 8:00AM-2:30PM for the second shift. Full time hours may be available for someone with experience. The compensation for this position will be $17-$20/hr. DOE. There will also be a $500 retention bonus after working for 6 months on the job. 

 

Job Duties:

• Prepares, cooks, and presents food to order following established company standards.
• Completes assigned “prep work” as needed.
• Stores and rotates stock.
• Cleans, Sanitizes, and organizes work area.
• Adheres to all safe food handling principles.

 

 

Job Requirements:

• Prefer at least 1-2 years cooking experience in a restaurant.
• Flexible and reliable
• Team player
• Must be able to observe and ensure product is prepared and presented to company requirements.
• Must have valid food handler’s card.
