Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled Lab Mechanic/Laborer worker to join a local Bryan, TX company! This role requires a combination of mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Since we cannot guarantee placement, our services are FREE!

Key Responsibilities:

• Great communication skills 
• The ability to uphold hard physical labor
• Good verbal and writing skills
• The ability to lift up to 50lbs
• The ability to push, pull, walk and stand for majority of the shift
• Moving pallets and heavy potting soils.
• Monitor growth chambers
• Ordering supplies
• Reading displays
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory standards at all times.
• Collaborate with colleagues across different departments to achieve common goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; is a plus.
• Proven experience working in a laboratory or industrial setting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety.
• Experience with Excel/ data entry.
