Our client in Cedar Rapids is looking for General Laborers!

 

This position is primarily responsible for the general sanitation within the dock and office areas of the warehouse.  Inventory control and housekeeping are major responsibilities of this position.  This position interacts with all staff members.  Individuals serving in this position must have the following skills and abilities.

 

 

• Warehouse cleaning
• Pallet audits
• Stacking/unstacking pallets
• Product separation
• General warehouse duties
• General sanitation duties
• Ability to work in a wide range of temperatures (-5 to outside air temp)
• Basic math and reading skills
• Ability to lift up to 50lb
• Have good mobility and be able to bend and twist 33% of the time.
• Be able to follow instructions closely
• Be able to communicate effectively
• Be able to function effectively in a team environment
• Have good working knowledge of safety and sanitation practices 
• Must have attention to detail and good with hand tools.

 

Hours: 6am-2:00pm, Monday-Friday

 

Pay: $16.00
