The Human Resources (HR) Manager is responsible for leading and directing the day-to-day functions of human resources in the organization including: employee compensation, benefits, recruitment, onboarding performance management, employee relations, workers compensation, workforce planning, policies and procedures, employment law and compliance.  

Essential Duties:

  • Collaborates with the local and global leadership team to develop and execute the Company''s HR strategy particularly as it relates to recruiting, onboarding, retention, succession planning and employee recognition and development.
  • Manages and directs talent acquisition including recruitment, interviewing, onboarding of qualified job Partners with department managers to understand and seek the appropriate skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Lead compensation and benefits management and understands current market trends, researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs. Manages compensation and benefit programs including our performance evaluation process. Responsible for health and welfare benefit management.
  • Supervise and direct payroll and ensure efficiency, accuracy and compliance.
  • Develops and maintains training and development programs and initiatives that provide career growth opportunities for employees.
  • Handles complex, specialized and sensitive HR questions and issues (including medical and workers'' compensation) as they arise. Oversees employee disciplinary situations, investigations and terminations.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, and regulatory changes, in HR and employment law. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, and recommended best practices. Reviews policies and procedures to maintain compliance.
  • Lead and direct safety and workers compensation including oversight and direction of the Safety Committee, OSHA compliance and workers compensation insurances nationally.
  • Acts as liaison between the Company and outside legal and professional resources regarding employment law, policies and employee relations issues and concerns.
  • Responsible for compliance reporting such as the Affirmative Action Plan (AAP), VETS-100, EEO-1 and other compliance surveys and reports.
  • ability to work in international / matrix organizations.

Education, Experience, Skills:

  • Bachelor''s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field OR an equivalent education and experience combined.
  • 5+ years'' experience in a HR position with increasing responsibilities, including comprehensive understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws (more experience preferred).
  • HR certification (SHRM-SCP / SPHR, or SHRM-CP / PHR, or CPP) is highly desired.
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills in English.
  • Strong computer skills. Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word). Proficiency in Google Workforce and ADP Workforce Now highly preferred.
