Our client, located in the South Austin area, is looking for a full-time administrative clerk to help their excellent team manage the day-to-day administrative duties. The client provides industrial fencing, as well as security solutions.

This is a great opportunity for someone that is looking to work in a smaller office with a team that needs general administrative assistance. Most of the business is coordinated and managed off phones.

This is a full-time, temp to hire, in-person position.

Job Description:
As an Administrative Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing administrative support across various functions. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managing general administrative tasks such as filing, organizing paperwork, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Handling incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, distributing, and processing shipments.
  • Assisting with timesheet management and ensuring accuracy in timekeeping records.
  • Proficiency in using BuilderTrend software is a plus, as you will be responsible for utilizing this tool to streamline project management tasks.
  • Managing credit card receipts and reconciling expenses in accordance with company policies.
  • Coordinating with state authorities to facilitate inspections of trailers, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
  • While phone answering, greeting visitors, and email correspondence are not required duties, occasional support in these areas may be necessary during peak times or as directed by management.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in general administrative support roles.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Familiarity with BuilderTrend software or similar project management tools is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of state regulations related to trailer inspections is a plus.
