Our client, located in the South Austin area, is looking for a full-time administrative clerk to help their excellent team manage the day-to-day administrative duties. The client provides industrial fencing, as well as security solutions.
This is a great opportunity for someone that is looking to work in a smaller office with a team that needs general administrative assistance. Most of the business is coordinated and managed off phones.

Job Description:
As an Administrative Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing administrative support across various functions. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing general administrative tasks such as filing, organizing paperwork, and maintaining office supplies.
- Handling incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, distributing, and processing shipments.
- Assisting with timesheet management and ensuring accuracy in timekeeping records.
- Proficiency in using BuilderTrend software is a plus, as you will be responsible for utilizing this tool to streamline project management tasks.
- Managing credit card receipts and reconciling expenses in accordance with company policies.
- Coordinating with state authorities to facilitate inspections of trailers, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
- While phone answering, greeting visitors, and email correspondence are not required duties, occasional support in these areas may be necessary during peak times or as directed by management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in general administrative support roles.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Familiarity with BuilderTrend software or similar project management tools is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of state regulations related to trailer inspections is a plus.
