Express Employment is hiring on behalf of our client located in Taber, Alberta. We are looking for Sampler/ Scalers for the upcoming Harvest season. This is a temporary position for approximately one month.

Job Details:

• Shifts are Monday to Friday, starting between 6AM to 8AM depending on weather. The shifts are 8-10 hours in length.
• All PPE will be provided by the client. And you get to keep it!
• Field Sampling: You will be sampling potatoes with a representative from the client who will take you to different sites in a company vehicle. You will be walking in the field to gather the sample, before heading back to the vehicle and moving onto the next site. Some sites require multiple samples.
• Scaling: You would be measuring the loads of potatoes that are dropped off by trucks and ensuring the information is correct within the computer system.
• The position is a combination of sampling and scaling.

Qualifications:

• Must have valid Class 5 Driver's License and reliable transportation. There is no transportation provided to the client's main office in Taber.
• Must be able to pass a criminal record check.
• Must be comfortable lifting 50lbs or more, repetitively.
