Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled Part-Time Furnace Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining furnaces used in the production process. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with industrial furnaces and a strong understanding of heat treatment processes. Responsibilities:

• Operate industrial furnaces according to established procedures and safety guidelines
• Monitor furnace temperature, pressure, and other variables to ensure optimal performance
• Load and unload materials into the furnace using hoists or other equipment
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on furnaces to ensure proper functioning
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the production process
• Maintain accurate records of furnace operations and production data
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
• Collaborate with other members of the production team to meet production goals and deadlines

Requirements:

• Previous experience operating industrial furnaces preferred
• Knowledge of heat treatment processes and procedures
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
