Canola Rouger/Weed Puller

Salary: $17 to $18/hr

Express Employment Professionals is hiring on behalf of a major local agriculture client and looking for Canola Roguers /Weed Pullers to work in the canola fields in the Lethbridge-Vauxhall corridors.

Salary: $17-18/hour.

Job Type: Temporary/Contract, fulltime; June and July, Transportation id provided.

Monday – Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Job Details:

• Pulling weeds and volunteer canola from Hybrid Canola Fields.
• Working outside in hot weather.
• Teamwork and following the team lead’s instructions.
• Transportation will be provided and pick up/drop off will be from 2 convenient locations in Lethbridge/Coaldale.
• Very physically demanding tasks.
• Paid travel time if it takes more than 30 min to reach the site

Qualifications:

• Students are most welcome; however, they must be at least 15 years old.
• No allergies to bees, pollen, or dust.
• Physically fit and able to bend, stand, and squat often.
• Bring own boots or closed toe shoes.
• Preferably wear long sleeves to protect from the sun/ dust
