Job Title: Construction Manager

Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage the construction team, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Sales: Proactively engage with potential clients, presenting our capabilities and securing commercial projects.

Quoting: Assess project requirements and provide professional, competitive quotes to potential clients.

Operational Oversights: Ensure all operations comply with safety regulations and quality standards.

Computer Tasks: Utilize industry-specific software and general computer applications for project management, scheduling, and communications.

Self-Management: Demonstrate the ability to initiate, plan, and execute tasks without direct supervision.

 

Additional Responsibilities include:

- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations

- Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking expenses, and approving invoices

- Communicate with clients, and team members to provide updates on project status

- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction

 

Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred)

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction management or a related field

- Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office, and construction-specific software.

- Strong sales and customer service skills with a proven ability to win commercial projects.

- Strong knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines.

- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.

- Proficient in project coordination, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation

- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

- Ability to work under pressure and solve problems independently.

- A self-starter with a high level of initiative and drive.
