26' Box Truck Driver

Salary: $24 - $26/hr

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials from Walpole, MA to Boston daily. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to operate a 24 foot box truck.

Hours: 6am - 2:30pm (*or until the last load is delivered)*

Pay Rate: $24 - $26/hr

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a variety of vehicles, including tractor-trailers, box trucks, and refrigerated trailers
• Load and unload goods and materials using equipment as needed
• Plan routes and ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations to maintain a safe driving record
• Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in proper working condition
• Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members to provide updates on delivery status
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or accidents that occur during transportation

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• DOT Card a MUST
• Ability to operate box trucks up to 24 foot
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with dispatchers, customers, and team members
• Ability to load and unload goods using pallet jacks, forklifts, or other equipment as required
• Physical stamina to handle the demands of loading/unloading and long hours on the road
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
• Attention to detail to accurately complete paperwork and maintain records
