Overview: As a Filler Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment used in the filling of products, typically within manufacturing or production facilities. Your role involves ensuring that the filling process runs smoothly, efficiently, and meets quality standards. This position requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operating filling machinery to fill containers with specified quantities of product.
2. Monitoring equipment during operation to ensure proper functioning and making adjustments as needed.
3. Loading containers onto the filling machine and unloading filled containers for further processing or packaging.
4. Performing quality checks on filled containers to ensure they meet specifications for weight, volume, and appearance.
5. Troubleshooting equipment issues and performing routine maintenance tasks to keep machinery in good working condition.
6. Following safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work area to prevent accidents and contamination.
7. Keeping accurate records of production output, equipment maintenance, and any issues encountered during the filling process.
8. Communicating effectively with other team members, supervisors, and quality control personnel to coordinate workflow and address any concerns.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in a role involving operating machinery.
3. Familiarity with filling equipment and basic understanding of mechanical systems.
4. Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
5. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
6. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
7. Basic math skills for measuring and calculating product quantities.
8. Willingness to adhere to safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
2. Standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
3. Manual dexterity for operating machinery and handling small components.
4. Ability to work in a noisy and sometimes dusty environment.
